Pittsburgh, PA – Providence Point, a Baptist Senior Family community, is excited to announce a major step in its commitment to longevity and quality of life through its adoption of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging’s LIVE program, becoming the second retirement community in the nation and the first on the east coast to join the Institute’s LIVE program as a Gold Tier partner.
LIVE, Longevity Inspired Vitality Education, is the Buck Institute’s year-long, evidence-informed learning program designed specifically for Life Plan Communities and other senior living environments. The program translates cutting-edge science into practical, accessible knowledge that supports healthier and more purposeful living. This partnership reflects a growing interest among older adults in understanding the science behind aging and applying it in practical, meaningful ways.
“We are all thrilled to become a Gold Tier partner with the Buck Institute’s LIVE program. Baptist Senior Family shares the Buck Institute’s passion for improving the lives of others by making world-class research and programming available so that we may all live longer, healthier lives.” -Timothy L. Myers, President & CEO, Baptist Senior Family

As a Gold Tier partner, Providence Point will integrate Buck Institute research directly into resident programming and its approach to healthy, joyful aging. Each LIVE program seminar and master class is designed to turn complex science into practical, empowering knowledge. Residents will learn how to protect brain health, improve sleep, maintain strength and balance, manage blood sugar, reduce inflammation, and better understand the many changes that come with age.
What makes LIVE truly unique is its authenticity and authority. These are the very scientists shaping the future of longevity research, now speaking directly to the people who stand to benefit most. Whether participating individually on their own devices or in group settings, residents will be informed, inspired, and supported to make small changes with meaningful impact. LIVE helps every participant build their own blueprint for health and vitality—one rooted in knowledge, community, and the confidence to age on their own terms.
