Baptist Senior Family has shared with our residents and staff that we have made the difficult decision to plan for the closure of our Skilled Nursing and Personal Care units on our Mt. Lebanon Campus. A plan has been submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Health outlining the closure of our personal care and skilled nursing units. If approved by the Commonwealth, Baptist Homes we will begin the closing process of these two units.
The well-being of our current residents, families, and staff is of the utmost importance to us. In keeping with our dedication to our residents, we are providing them with devoted and experienced staff to work one-on-one with each resident and their representatives to help them choose the best new home for them. Our caring employees will be offered the opportunity to continue employment within Baptist Senior Family.
Please note, the Independent Living HUD Subsidized Apartments at Baptist Manor will not be impacted by the closure.
Baptist Senior Family is committed to continuing to provide high quality senior care into the future; the how and where that care is provided will change.
